If it is PD, it should be made before 1946, but it's not the case as a date is set as "early 1950s". The second option would be publication before 1956 under Japanese jurisdiction, but this fact is not proven, as this image lacks a proper source and author.Moreover I question the originality of this photo, as the background seems to be substituted. And indeed it is a derivative, as a color version of it was published as a cover picture: [1]. Therefore, basing on a precautionary principle, we should delete it, as it wasn't proven that this exact picture is in PD and even whether it is an original composition. Deleted, the file is used 43 times in 23 projects, but nobody answered during whole month. Probably there is no reason for assuming public domain. Taivo (talk) 09:58, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
