Wiki Science Competition
[edit]Bonjour Jastrow,

Painting G135 from your Louvre list
[edit]Hello Jastrow, in your description of this item you are referring to an inscription that describes the musician as „kalos“(male). The Beazley list ist decribing the person as female. So what is correct? 83.197.232.176 08:49, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! The inscription refers to an unnamed boy, not to the flute-player, who is indeed female. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 09:09, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
Iconographic research of Stained glass St Bernard– Visitable construction of the basilica of Saint-Denis (France)
[edit]Dear Sir,
Suivez la Flèche is an association created to rebuild the north tower and the spire of the Basilica of Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis, France). It will open the site to visitors in spring 2025, when laying of the first stones.
To visually narrate the story of the spire, a didactic gallery will be curated, highlighting medieval construction techniques and the Basilica's evolution. We aim to select images that ensure the most immersive experience for our visitors, prioritizing the highest available quality for commercial purposes.
After conducting research, it appears that you may have access to the desired image "Stained glass St Bernard MNMA Cl3273.jpg" in a suitable format (2000x3000px 300dpi or higher jpeg or tiff). Could you kindly provide us with the image, if available, and inform us of any conditions or permissions required for its use? The funds allocated by the French State and the Ile-de-France region support the ongoing construction works. However, we are seeking sponsors to contribute to the design of an educational pathway, particularly the iconography, aimed at showcasing the construction site and the various associated trades, within a region undergoing significant development.
Thank you for your attention to this matter,
Sincerely, Julie Petit (talk) 15:32, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
